Lettuce picking and packing

The role

You'll be doing manual harvesting and packing of lettuce plants, mainly outside in the field and within an indoor packing facility.

Skills and requirements needed

You will need to:

  • be fit and healthy, with good flexibility
  • stand & bend over for long periods of time
  • follow instructions and learn and apply new processes quickly
  • work well in a team
  • have good communication skills
  • follow quality insurance processes
  • be commited to work for 6 months starting April.

Greenhouse tomato picking and packing

The role

You'll be doing manual harvesting and packing of greenhouse grown truss tomatoes within a climate-controlled greenhouse.

Skills and requirements needed

You will need to:

  • pass a colour test
  • be fit and healthy, with good flexibility
  • be fast at manual tasks
  • follow instructions and learn and apply new process quickly
  • stand for long periods of time
  • have a good eye for detail
  • work well in a team
  • be commited to long-term employment from early May to late October.
